My political views.
Oct. 11th, 2002 11:35 amI really really really hate this whole "let's attack Iraq" thing. I really dislike Bush and his administration. I believe I will be volunteering for the Democratic party in a couple of years and hopefully we can get this guy out of office.
I think I was born on the wrong continent. I should move to Europe.
And congrats to Jimmy Carter for winning the Nobel Peace Prize. I don't remember much of his presidency (I was just a lad), but I know he wasn't looked upon to highly by most people. But the stuff he's accomplished since then has been amazing IMHO, especially Habitat for Humanity. I know that conservatives have oft criticized him for offering to negotiate peace deals on behalf of the USA, but at least he's TRYING to promote peace in the world, something the current administration is clearly not interested in. I think Jimmy Carter is a good man and I'm glad to see him recognized.
I'm not the best person in the world on political topics. I try to stay informed, but I don't know everything. I do know, however, what I think is right and wrong, and I let that guide me. Peace is right.
